Daywise Itinerary

Tour guests will arrive at Agartala Airport as per their scheduled flight. Upon arrival in Agartala, the capital city of Tripura. After meet & greet all guests will proceed to visit the magnificent Ujjayanta Palace — the former royal residence of the Kingdom of Tripura, beautifully built in the Indo-Saracenic style of architecture.

Today we explore the charming city of Agartala. We visit the stunning Neermahal, a magnificent water palace built by the Maharaja of the Tripura Kingdom, gracefully set in the middle of Rudrasagar Lake.

Later, we seek blessings at the revered Tripura Sundari Temple, one of the 51 Shakti Peethas and an important pilgrimage site.

In the evening, we witness the ceremonial flag-down parade at the India–Bangladesh Border, a patriotic and memorable experience.

Today we proceed to Silchar, Assam’s second largest city, beautifully nestled in the lush Barak Valley. Enjoy a scenic drive as the landscape gradually changes from rolling hills to expansive plains, offering glimpses of rural life and verdant countryside along the way.

After breakfast, proceed towards Aizawl, the picturesque capital of Mizoram. Enjoy a scenic drive through winding hill roads, dense bamboo forests, and breathtaking valleys as you ascend into the serene landscapes of the Northeast.

Upon arrival in Aizawl, check in at the hotel and relax amidst the cool mountain air and charming hill town ambiance.

Overnight stay in Aizawl.

Today we explore the charming hill city of Aizawl. We visit the Mizoram State Museum, which houses an impressive collection of artifacts, traditional costumes, and historical items that beautifully reflect the rich cultural heritage of the state.

Later, we visit the magnificent Solomon's Temple, the largest church in Mizoram, known for its striking white architecture and serene surroundings.

After sightseeing, we proceed towards Silchar.

After breakfast, bid farewell to Silchar and drive towards Jowai, the serene capital of the West Jaintia Hills in Meghalaya. The journey unfolds through mist-kissed hills, winding roads, and stretches of emerald greenery, offering glimpses of untouched natural beauty along the way.

On arrival, check in at your hotel and unwind amidst the tranquil surroundings of this charming hill town.

Overnight stay in Jowai.

Today morning after breakfast, visit one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Meghalaya – Krang Suri Falls, famous for its crystal-clear turquoise waters and breathtaking natural surroundings.

We then explore Thadlaskein Lake, a serene man-made lake steeped in local legends and surrounded by lush greenery.

Later, proceed towards Shillong. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Breakfast at the hotel, proceed for Mawlynnong. This little colourful village is known for its cleanliness ,Which is asia's cleanest village. Explore the Root Bridge, Sky Walk and Natural Balancing Rock. Also, visit Dawki the crystal-clear river water, transfer to Shillong,(Boating at direct payment) check in at hotel, O/N at Shillong.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed towards Cherrapunjee (Sohra), one of the wettest places on earth and the only region in India to receive rainfall almost throughout the year. Nestled in the East Khasi Hills, about 50 km southwest of Shillong, Cherrapunjee—also known as Sohra or Churra, meaning “Land of Oranges”-is famed for its dramatic cliffs, lush landscapes, and panoramic views overlooking the plains of Bangladesh.

Begin the sightseeing with a visit to the spectacular Wei Sawdong Falls, followed by Seven Sisters Falls, Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Cave, and the Eco Park, each offering unique perspectives of the region’s natural grandeur.

After completing the sightseeing, drive back to Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Today morning after breakfast drive to Tezpur .On the way we visited Maha Mrityunjaya Temple in Nagaon.  En route we enjoy the view of beautiful Umiam Lake. If time permits, visit Agnigarh – the site of a fortress, which as per the Hindu mythology, was built by Banasura to keep his daughter Usha in isolation. O/N stay at Tezpur.

On arrival, we visit the magnificent Kohima Cathedral, one of the largest cathedrals in Northeast India, known for its unique architecture and peaceful ambiance.

We then explore the Nagaland State Museum, which showcases the rich tribal heritage, traditional artifacts, and cultural history of Nagaland. Later, visit the State Emporium for local handicrafts and souvenirs.

If time permits, we also pay a visit to the historic Kohima War Cemetery, a beautifully maintained memorial dedicated to soldiers of World War II.

Today we visit Khonoma Village – Asia’s First Green Village. Here we enjoy a Heritage Walk of the Village. We also visit Khonoma Nature Conservation and Tragopan Sanctuary to spot Mithun (State Animal) - feeding salt to one of these bulls is a local ritual. Later we visit Kisama - Naga Heritage Village. Engaging with the locals, we get to experience Nagaland like never before.

After breakfast, proceed from Kohima towards Jorhat, known as the “Tea Capital of Assam.” Enjoy a scenic drive as you descend from the Naga Hills into the lush plains of Assam, passing through charming villages and verdant landscapes along the way.

Upon arrival in Jorhat, check in at the hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Jorhat.

Today we proceed to Nimati Ghat and board the morning ferry (between 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM) to Majuli, the world’s largest river island, nestled amidst the mighty Brahmaputra River.

Upon arrival, we visit the revered Auniati Satra and Samaguri Satra, known for their rich Vaishnavite culture, ancient traditions, and the famous mask-making art.

After lunch en route, we return to the mainland by the last ferry at 3:00 PM and proceed towards Kaziranga National Park.

Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Today we experience a thrilling jeep safari at Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its rich biodiversity. During the safari, we come face to face with the majestic one-horned rhinoceros, wild elephants, deer, and a variety of rare migratory birds in their natural habitat.

Later, we visit the Kaziranga Orchid and Biodiversity Park, which showcases over 600 species of orchids from Northeast India. The park also features bamboo and medicinal herb gardens, a cactus house, and a handicrafts museum displaying the region’s traditional artistry.

After an early breakfast, depart from Kaziranga and drive towards Bomdila in Arunachal Pradesh. Enjoy the scenic journey through lush tea gardens, rolling hills, and picturesque villages of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. En route, visit the Tipi Orchidarium, home to a wide variety of orchids and local flora, offering a refreshing stop and photo opportunity. On arrival in Bomdila, check in at your hotel. Evening at leisure to relax and soak in the tranquil hill station atmosphere. Overnight stay in Bomdila.

After breakfast, visit the Bomdila Monastery, a serene monastery nestled amidst lush greenery. Later, drive towards Tawang, enjoying the breathtaking mountain scenery en route. Stop at Jang Falls for a short visit and photo opportunity. Continue to Sela Pass and Sela Lake, offering panoramic views of the Eastern Himalayan ranges, followed by a visit to Jaswant Garh War Memorial, dedicated to Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat. On arrival in Tawang, check in at your hotel. Overnight stay in Tawang.

Early in the morning, proceed to Bum La Pass, situated at the Indo-China border at an altitude of 15,200 ft. (Please note: visit to Bum La Pass is subject to permission from the Indian Army and operational road conditions). Later, visit Peng Teng Tso Lake and Shungatser (Madhuri) Lake, famous for its appearance in the Bollywood movie Koyla and named after the lead actress. In the evening, visit the Tawang War Memorial, built in memory of the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the Sino-Indian War, and enjoy the Sound and Light Show.(Tickets at own cost) Overnight stay in Tawang.

After breakfast, visit the Tawang Monastery, the second largest monastery in Asia, renowned for its stunning architecture and spiritual ambiance. Later, depart for Bomdila. Enjoy the scenic journey through the high-altitude landscapes, valleys, and pine forests. On arrival in Bomdila, check in at your hotel. Evening at leisure to relax and enjoy the serene hill station surroundings. Overnight stay in Bomdila.

After an early breakfast, depart from Bomdila and drive towards Guwahati. Enjoy the scenic journey through the rolling hills, forests, and picturesque villages of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam. On arrival in Guwahati, check in at your hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Morning proceed for a visit to the Kamakhya Temple, one of the most revered pilgrimage sites in Assam. Later, transfer to Guwahati Airport for your onward journey. Bid farewell to your tour with some wonderful memories.
