Daywise Itinerary

Arrive at Guwahati, Meet & Greet, visit Kamakhya Temple. Assam State Museum. (Mondays, Govt. holidays, 2nd and 4th Saturday of a month)

Evening go for sunset/Sundown cruise (subject to operation) at river Brahmaputra. (Cruise tickets at own) (If time permits)

Overnight stay at Guwahati.

Breakfast, checkout from the hotel, Transfer to Kaziranga.

En-route visit Maha Mrityunjay temple.

On arrival check in at hotel Kaziranga, Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Morning Jeep safari (central/western range of the park, subject to operation) at the National Park. Breakfast, go visit Kaziranga National orchid and Biodiversity Park (on direct payment). Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Breakfast & transfer to Bomdila. Bomdila – the headquarter of west Kameng District of Arunachal Pradesh and known for its Buddhist monasteries. It has a lot of attractions for the visitors for its cool climate. On arrival Bomdila, check in at hotel. O/N stay at Bomdila.

Early morning breakfast & visit Bomdila Monastery – a beautiful monastery amidst nature. Later we proceed to Tawang. Enroute we visit Sela Pass and Sela Lake which gives some delightful views of eastern Himalayan ranges, followed by a visit to JaswantGarh Indo Chinese War Memorial – a memorial in honour of late Jaswant Singh Rawat and Kiwi garden. Then drive towards Tawang. Overnight stay in Tawang.

Bumla Pass is situated 37 kms away from Tawang. The Indo-China border that lies at 16000 ft altitude is the right place for you to assess your fitness level if you love adventure.

On the way back visit Pankang Teng Tso Lake 12000ft. also known as PT Tso Lake, Shonga-tser Lake, It is famously called Madhuri Lake. An earthquake in this region resulted in the formation of Shonga-tser Lake in 1971, which until then was grassland that served the cattle of the locals here. The lake with picturesque snow-capped mountains surrounding it and the valley offer spectacular views.

Back to Tawang. Witness the light & sound show in the evening.(At own cost) Overnight stay at Tawang.

Early morning breakfast & drive towards Dirang. En-route visit Nuranang falls (Jung falls). On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight stay in Dirang.

Early morning breakfast & drive towards Tezpur. Visit Maha Bhairab Temple, Agnigarh & Cole Park, Overnight stay in Tezpur.

After Breakfast, Transfer to Shillong.

En-route stop at Umium Lake viewpoint.

Shillong became the first capital of the State of Meghalaya. Located in undulating pine covered hills, the city has a milder climate than tropical India. The city centre is 1496m above sea level and currently has a population of around 270,000. Home to several waterfalls, it is also known as the Scotland of the East. The British legacy is still visible in the architecture and food habits of the population.

Evening stroll around the market at Police Bazar at own. O/N stay at Shillong.

Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Cherrapunjee. Cherrapunjee in Meghalaya is one of the wettest places on the planet and the only place in India to receive rain throughout the year. The town of Cherrapunjee is nestled in the East Khasi Hills about 50 km southwest of the state’s capital, Shillong. Cherrapunjee, also known as Sohra or Churra, means ‘the land of oranges. The cliffs of Cherrapunjee also offer stunning views of the plains of Bangladesh.

Visit to Seven Sister Falls, Nohkhalikai Falls, Mwasmai Cave, eco – park. Back to Shillong en-route visit Elephanta Falls. O/N stay at Shillong.

This morning proceed for Mawlynnong. This little colourful village is known for its cleanliness, which is Asia's cleanest village.

Explore the Root Bridge, Sky Walk and Natural Balancing Rock. Also, visit Dawki the crystal-clear river water.(Boating at own) Back to Shillong. Evening free for leisure. O/N stay at Shillong.

Breakfast, Transfer to Guwahati airport, Bid farewell to your tour with some wonderful memories.
